I head some grinding on my rear wheels recently on my 96 B4000. I took the drums off, and found the "Brake Shoe Adjusting Lever Cable " broken. The cable and the retainer is connects to. (if you look in the tech info at the head of this page it is part #21 on the exploded diagram)
My question is: Is this going to be a part I can get at a regular Checker, or auto zone, Or am I going to have to get bent over by a dealer on this one?
