Reading spark plugs
Hey all, I'm trying to make sure the reman 302 in my 86 Bronco is going to live a long life. I pulled a plug with 3000 miles on the engine, and the insulator is dull white with a few grey spots on it. It looks clean, though I had hoped to see more overall grey. I just ran some injector cleaner through it a while back, and it seems to run great. No current engine codes for rich or lean, and I replaced almost every sensor during the overhaul. It's an HO 302 being run off of the 86's speed density system. It runs cool, and I've never heard it ping. Who's the expert on reading spark plugs?
