Angry 3rd stage Borfinator
My Borfinator went out, the dealer wants 400. to replace it. I can buy a new one for $125. but unsure how it goes in , right side up or upside down. Its on jack stands now so any help is appreciated

Wow! I know i'm not very mechancally inclined, but even jeeves didn't know what a 3rd stage borfinator was.

Does it take the place of the flux capacitor?

Haynes manual makes referance to it saayin justthat the flange side goes up and match the two indicator marks. I am going out to try it if that doesn't work or look right I will have to do some research in my FordBronco books. Wish me luck.

I appreciate all the help, once I got the spline lined up it dropped right in . The pressure is back even higher than it was before and it seems like the low end throttle response has increased. Strange that such an insignifacant parts makes such an impact.

Hey dhelper, try to align the radioactive pins made from depleted uranium shells next time with special tool ZXT44-26 next time. If you need to borrow mine sorry I lent it out to NASA at Jonhnson space center in Houston. You can ask for Chuck there, he will help you.
