Fixed ABS problem

I just picked up a 2000 F-150 4X4 with 90k miles as my winter car. I have a 02 supercharged stang convert for my toy. Anyways the ABS light was on when I got the truck. After lurking around here for a bit I found the rear abs sensor to be an open circuit. I picked up a new sensor and replaced. Well the light turned off, but turned back on as soon as I put the truck into gear. I checked the two front sensors, just slightly over 400 ohms - good. Started looking at some wiring, even though they looked okay to the eye, I pulled at and found the wires from the abs module to the motor were all corroded at the motor end near the ceramic coated connectors. I cut the wires back, soldered the wires to the motor, covered with heat shrink, and then taped up the wires. Put the motor plug back in and turned the key. No more ABS light all is good. Just wanted to post in case this may help someone else out, as this was not something that was easy to find. I'm sure if I had the codes pulled, it would have shown a bad motor, with a costly replacement.
