anyone seen "motorcycle mania 3" on the discovery channel yet?
best one yet if you ask me. jesse james and kid rock ride bikes down to Mexico for a few days. they rode to an area so secluded people didnt know who they were- they felt like average people and loved it.
also, does anyone have the MM3 sound track? it sounded pretty cool, but i hate buying anything without getting opinions first.
Parts of it I really loved, but others I didn't like so much. Riding to mexico; the seclusion, the scenary, and the bikes I loved. But listening to a normally pretty cool Jesse James complain about his life/marriage annoyed me. He pretty much has the motorcycle world by the you know whats and he complains about not being able to work. If I was in his position and all I really wanted to do was work, I don't think anyone could stop me. Maybe cut down on the "AutoZone" commercials and think about less involvement with Monster Garage, then you could have time to build bikes.
The town they started in (wheelwright, MA) is actually part of my hometown! When they were showing him riding around in that old truck, that was my "downtown" (haha, nothing more than a couple of churches, a post office, and a large central lawn). I even saw him turn onto my road! I know the metal fabricator he worked with, and have been in that barn many a time. Talk about a small world
I pretty much lost what little respect for Jesse I had left after the Autozone commercials after watching that. Boohoo, the last year has been so hard. It's called a life! Lots of people are busy and have marriage problems. Many people would love to be raking in the amount of money he is.
How hard would it be to find a place in Mexico that didn't know who they were? I bet a pretty good majority of the people outside the big cities don't have cable TV, or maybe even no TV at all.
I really liked that one, the deal about his marriage i couldve done without. As far as the bikes, that was some awesome looking bikes. I actually liked how he did the copper bike with the rivets. The general lee bike was awesome as well. I almost changed it when kid rock ruined that song.
