Are we as a people so lazy that we have to abbreviate a two letter word?
Example. @=at
We can't take time out of our busy schedule to write 2 letters so we draw something and continue that "something" by encircling it and call it "at" To be honest with you, I think I can write "at" faster than I can draw that sign. And I know for sure that I can type the word "at" quicker than I can type "@".
And don't even get me started on somebody mixing peanut butter and jelly together in the same jar and calling it "goobers"
Yeh, and used to, people had to actually get up to turn the channel on the the TV. My brother even has a remote controlled ceiling fan......I just laugh every time I go in his house.
Hmm. Remember when IBM compatible computers DIDN'T have mice?
I think I had every "F" key memorized for what it did, and ctrl - something, or alt - something did something. They still do the same thing, but using the mouse is SO much easier now.
I dont like the word lazy,I prefer motivationally challenged. And when I was born, the doctor slapped my mom.Remotes are ok if you can ever find them.I think I will invent a remote finder, nah.I would just lose the remote for the remote finder.
I'm waiting for someone to invent a remote-controlled remote control storage system.
Oh--does anybody know what the actual technical term is for "@"? I don't, but I was thinking of the "&". It means "and", which is three letters....but it's called "ampersand", which is a lot longer than "and". Pretty sad when the name of a symbol for a two-three letter word is twice the length of the word it is supposed to be short for.
You ever taste that stuff,it is nasty.I prefer the real thing,Jif or Skippy and Smuckers Grape jelly.Yummy!
And talk about lazy, how about those new hi-tech toilets, not a bidet, but a new hi-tech version with all sorts of sensors that can tell if you are male or female and then proceed to give you that fresh powerwashed feeling. This thing even cleans itself, supposed to be the end of toilet paper.Sorry, there are certain things that I just cant trust leaving to technoligy.I can hear it now,Sorry sir,but you are laid up in the hospital because a sensor went bad and, well,,,,,,,,,

Bill, you crack me up . . . I'm always harping on people too lazy to cook. It's become an epidemic and our pant sizes reflect it. Funny about the "@". I see people use it all the time in chatrooms and e-mail like it helps them type faster but you still need to punch two keys to make it appear. And don't you hate when people are too lazy to finish what they

Naw thats why you just have the remote finder built into the TV. Wait...I shouldnt be telling you this, its my idea dont steal it....
Ive spent up to 30 mins looking for the remote just so I can watch TV. Its one of the most frustrating thing ever.
What kills me is that most of the features on the TV and cable box can't be used without the remote. If you lose it and need to adjust the picture or something you're in trouble.
