2 Different Problems need answered

1st prob, When the rt turn signal is activated w/the cruise on, the cruise kicks out. The left rear turn signal/brake lite won't work, park lite ok, front lites ok on left.
2nd prob, I also asked this in the 4.6/5.4 area, will the intake on a 4.6 swap to any other Fords, or can I put the inj's and elec sys to a comlpetely different motor?? The price of a replacement is down right scary!!

The truck is a 1998 {7/98 build date} F-150 ext cab with a 4.6 that has 212,000 miles. She burns a lot of oil, and dosen't have much power left. $3000 for a stock rebuild is just way to steep! If I could put a 302 or a [prefer] 351 in and not have to do major mods, I could have the same performance for a lot less.

That would be hard to do without a lot of fabrication.
I would suspect a bad multifunction switch. It controls the wipers, turn signals, etc.
