Holes

I just wanted to know if it was normal for a 48-52 frame to have about 60 holes per rail. I am about done welding up all the holes and I have welded about 130 plus holes in my frame. I am changing the suspension to a scotts superslam (airbag) and wanted a clean frame to start with.

Yup! I think they placed holes for every accessory, add-on, bolt-on thingie that they could possibly ever need and then doubled it so it could be right or left-hand drive!

I was wondering that myself... I've noticed a few extra holes here and there on my frame and didn't know what they were for. Nice to know they are supposed to be there! with the guy that owned her before me, i never know what to expect on my truck!
