Fuel injection or Carb

I have a 1986 Ford F-150 with a 302 that has stock fuel injection. I am considering to change the fuel delievery system. I don't know wether to buy a new intake manifold and carb or get an after market fuel injection system. I don't do much hill climbing. I just want something reliable that delievers the most power. Please give your opinion and give reasons why.

EFI - if necessary, aftermarket or MegaSquirt/TwEECer if you want to tune it. EFI delivers at least as much power as a carb (up to about 1000hp), but has better fuel economy. Modern EFI systems and components are often more tunable than and at least as reliable as a carb.

I'd have to agree with Spktyr. EFI will give you great throttle response, better mileage and great cold weather starting compared to a carb and you don't have to adjust it to make it idle smoothly.
