duel fuel tanks ???

I have a 86 f-150 with duel tanks and a manual fuel pump.

My question is this!

how can i run two tanks on one line w/out the fuel selector valve?
I'am running only the front tank w/out the selector.

Thanks

You could probably have it gravity fed or you could plumb the second tank into the main one you want to use and hook up an electric pump in between the two and use a pressure regulator to keep it from spraying the fuel into the tank you want to use.

Since it's a manual fuel pump, I don't see why you couldn't just eliminate the selector valve......the pump will pull from both tanks. There's no guarantee it would pull equally though. You could run dry on one tank, sucking crud into the line......it's starting to sound like a bad idea. Fix what you've got.
