Propane Converstion
FYI
I have been doing some research on converting my 1996 F150 4.9L I6 to run on propane and unleaded and this is one source that i have come up with and this is there responce from my question.
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your truck can be converted to bi-fuel LP. Your cost for the underhood
kit for you truck will cost you $ 1000.00 this would include the mixer,
converter, lock-off, intergrated processor, hoses and fittings. The tank
cost for your application will vary depending location. A tank mounted
in the bed would be the least expensive. A 13x13x32 tank that holds 26
gallons and would mount in place of the spare tire costs $858.40. A
20x60 tank that mounts in the bed costs $734.00. If you need any further
