Say I Just Picked Up Another F-100 Pickup 1978.
I See A Breather Hose Running From The Right Rear Side Head Valve Cover To
The Front Side Of My Carburetor. I Also Have A Oil Filler/breather Cap On The Left Side Valve Cover With Elbow Pc Value Coming Out The Top Pointing Towards The Carburetor.
My 1st Question Is:
Should I Be Thinking About Getting A Hose And Clamps And Tie Pc Valve And Tying Into The The Other Hose?

My Red 78 Ford Pickup Has Alot Of New Parts On It. New Spark Plugs And Wires Along With All New Fluids And Such. But Every Once In A While. I'll Be Running Down The Road Doing About 55. And She Will Just Die On Me. I'll Get It Over To The Side Of The Road And Put It In Part And Turn The Key Over And She'll Start Right Back Up. And Will Run For
A Day Or Two And Then It Will Happen Again.
Should I Be Thinking About Getting A New Or Rebuild carburetor?
Depending on the engine that you have, The PCV valve should be in the drivers side oil fill cap and connected to the front of the carb. The passenger side should have an elbow and hose that runs to the factory air cleaner to a breather filter inside of the air cleaner.
When you say the truck dies, do you mean stutters to a stop or suddenly cuts out? If the truck suddenly cuts out one culprit can be the ignition switch. They get older and can short out, its a cheap fix if thats the problem.
