OK, I checked with my local Fuel distributor and he agreed that the farm grade stuff I am using in my tractors has a higher sulpher content, but no one can tell me what a higher sulpher content is going to do to an engine, farm tractor or PSD. Neighbor has about 140,000 on a 7.3 psd, never anything but farm frade diesel and not a single problem. So what's the deal??
Thanks john, I could not imagine that it would damage the engine, but did not know for sure. I have been using it for years in my tractors, and was a little concerned.
In Washington, off road diesel is labeled HIgh Sulfur content as well as for off road only. I have run it once and the truck seems to run a little better but that could be in my head too.
I'll agree w/ johnsdiesel- the sulfur doesn't increase performance of the fuel whatsoever. I've definitely never noticed a difference, and have been told that their isn't one.

I know a guy who got caught and it cost him 1,500 dollars and his truck impounded, and towed to repair shop and drain the tank. and that cost him another 500.00. not worth it.
