1997 Explorer Front Torsion Bars HELP!
It was late one night and I was driving my girlfriends 1997 5.0 Explorer in an unfamiliar area. We were with a bunch of friends and I was not going insanely fast just 45 in a 40 but to my regret there was a somewhat elevated railroad track in front of us. My friend, who lives in the area, did not tell me about the tracks until we were right on top of them. Let’s just say I never knew you could get such a big vehicle so high in the air. I was very surprised when it landed though, very smooth not jarring at all. Ever since then the vehicle has ridden rougher and it does not feel the same. Did I crack a torsion bar or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

1997 Explorer Front Torsion Bars HELP!
Under each door there is a screw for adjusting the height. It pushes up on a lever that is attached to the bar. The end may have broken off or the screw bent.
