Torsion suspension question...
2000 f150 5.4L 4x4 torsion suspension.
oh god oh god...
i removed the torsion bar. i marked were it went back. i left it outside. in the rain. seems the paint came off... how in the world to i reset the torsion bar back in?
do i let the lower control are lay all the way down then slip it back through and through to key? or what? i hate my life... my luck sucks and i promise ill never work on a torsion suspension ever again...

thanks! i actually figured it out. if you remove the torsion bar you need to remove the height bolt to give the key enough room to let the torsion bar slide back in. you leave the lower control arm at resting point. slide the bar through the lower control arm toward the front of the truck, slide the torsion bar back toward the key and then tap it into the key from the lower control arm on the "head" when done, replace the bolt back to original position then you are all set! its quite easy. its just confusing when you have NEVER worked on a truck before.
