A/C slow to start
Does anyone know why the A/C compressor on my 02 Sport Trac takes two minutes to engage? I turn on the air and the compressor will not start spinning until the engine has been running for about two minutes. All other vehicles I've owned start the compressor the second I turn on the A/C regardless of how long the vehicle has been running. When it does start, the A/C cools quickly like it should. I just don't get why I need to sit for the first two minutes in a hot car...
