1997 f250 leveling kit
I have a 2002 F-250 SD CC that I am going to put a coil spacer kit to "level" on. I am going with the DayStar 2" coil spacers ($99 + S&H + front end allignment $?) and will upgrade my tires/rims from the present 235/85X16" tires on stock chrome 16X7" rims to 285/75X16" tires on Eagle alloy 16X8" rims to fill in the wheel wells so the "leveling" doesn't look dorky with the skinny tires on it. I chose the DayStar kit because I wanted to retain as close to the factory ride comfort as possible. Along with the DayStar 2" leveling kit, I am swapping the factory shocks (70K+ on them by the time I do all this) for ProComp ES-3000's.
This is just my take on leveling kits; keep in mind that I am NOT going for the rough & tumble ride. I am attempting to retain as close to the stock ride quality as possible but with adding 2" coil spacers. My truck is a 2WD, not a 4WD and I don't do ANY off-roading.
My $.02 U.S.,

PS- to see a multitude of manufacturers of leveling kits and suspension stuff, check out www.suspensionconnection.com or just do a keyword search using "Ford leveling kits" (or a similar concoction of wording). You'll get a TON of hits! -DS

What size tires do you want to fit? If you want say, 35s, I would suggest just doing a complete 4" kit. This will solve any issues you might encounter as all the necessary parts would be included in the kit. Might help save money down the road..(odd tire wear etc)
good luck
