90 econoline conversion van fuel selector
I am new to Ford Enthusiasts. I just purchased a 90 150 econoline van. The previous owner said that the rear tank 'doesn't work.' After filling the rear tank, I switched the selector to rear and the fuel level reads as empty. I left it switched to rear tank and drove 100 miles, but it just took gas out of the front tank. I think i need to replace the selector valve. Is there any way to field test it?

to test, just unplug your fuel tanks lines from the valve, and switch the ignition switch to on, and toggle the selector switch. fuel will pump from the tank to the ground.
