Does anyone have experience with this product instead of paying big $$$ for Dynamat extreme (if I hear of one more 'extreme' product I am going to vomit ).
Ebay item #5706068274
120 bucks for 100sq ft with free shipping.
I've got a F250 CC and need to do the foor doors and panel behind the back seat. Probably double coat all of it.
looks decent. I would go for it. I kinda like trying lesser known stuff. I might end up gettn some when i have some extra money. Its even got free shipping
Search the web for stuff called "brown bread". There is also some nifty stuff at Lowe's made for roofing. Pretty cheap too. Cant remember the name, but it shouldnt be hard to find. Its in a 6"-8" tall roll, and its silver.
Does the roofing stuff and Lowe's/Depot smell bad though?
Probably asphalt based?
I didnt have a problem with smell in my car. Im gonna use it on the truck when I get started working on it. I assume the more you use, the more it might smell. I thought Dynamat had a much stronger smell.
Yes I have, I bought the same kit from the same person. I have used dynamat as well. That stuff works great. I could not tell a difference except price. I did use 2 layers. The guy ships super fast and there is enough on that roll to do ALOT!!! I would say get it, you won't be sorry. I used as much as I could and still have enough to do my wifes explorer in the future.. The back panel really needs to layers. The doors were kinda hard to get 2 layers on and install the panels afterwards.Just a thought..
I use the Peel n Seal from lowes and it works great. for about 60 bucks i did every inch of my 98 f150 but the roof. my previous car i used the dynomat extreme and between the two i can hear no differance.

What do you guys think?
I'm doing a full install on my 99 Explorer Sport and didn't want to pay outrageous bucks for sheet sound damperers.
I went with a product called QuietCar. It's a liquid that can be brushed, rolled,
or sprayed on. I sprayed it on but the method of application has no effect on the products performance according to the manufacturer.
I went with 8 coats on the floor, 6 on the interior metal walls, 5 on the doors, 3 coats under the hood, and 2 coats on the backside of all interior plastic panels. Nothing on the roof yet, I didn't want to remove the headliner.
It took a while but the results are unbelievable. Dead quiet and it doesn't stink when the vehicle is sealed up tight under the sun like Dynacrap does.
It's been a while since your post so I'm probably too late to help, but I hope you've had good luck with whatever method you've chosen.
