Thanks
But how bout details, If I want to buy the "older 100a external system with digital-electronic V-Reg is only way to fly" what year and model Ford should I reference?
Thanks again,
Al
The 100a external reg. alt was used on cars and trucks in the early '70's until the mid '80s. Look for a large case alternator with a formed plug-in with two wires on the rear side of the case. The large charge wire is separate. It takes diff brackets I believe
due to case size. The electronic regulator is stock replacement on any Ford from the aftermarket. Just make sure that the cover says electronic and is short.
FBp will correct me if I'm wrong!
