transmission problem?
The first, excuse my English. And now I would like to explain my problems.
1. If I am going down from a hill, stop, engage R and trying back a car up to hill without breakes on the car is moving down the hill. Is it normal or there should be some tranny problem.
2. I can hear some noise (only if window is opened) in engaging from D (or 1,2) to R.

Archibald, if I understand you correctly, you are stopped, facing down hill, and in Reverse. If you take your foot off the brake, the vehice will continue to roll down the hill. If the hill is steep enough, this is normal. Now, if you apply the accelerator, you should back up the hill. This is due to the slippage in the torque converter.

Thanks for your reply. I understand this very well. I just did not expect there was a slippage in torgue convertor.
But If you want to make some excersise you can try to translate it to Czech.
