I think I may have air between my clutch fluid reservoir and my slave cylinder. The slave is not accessible without tearing everything apart (a genious design) so is there any way to bleed the lines? Suggestions??
well im looking at the repair manual right now and it looks like theres two types of slave cylinders, an external and a concentric. i dont know which one you have so if you have any way of figureing that out ill do my best to help
(a genious design), not only that , but the line inside the bellhousing had a tendency to go bad,
not sure which years, .
no ideas to help ya though, never had one like this,
:-( Ford and their better ideas :-(
There should be a bleeder screw right next to the line. If I remember it takes a 10mm wrench. Break the screw loose and put a plastic line on it and route to a container. Make sure there is enough fluid and open the screw and let fluid run into container for a few seconds and close screw. Service reservoir and check clutch operation. It may take a few try to get all the air out.
