'98 Explorer maintainance
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Nov-02 AT 03:00 PM (EST)]I am looking to finish off my explorer lubrication by using Mobil1 for all applications. I recently changed the oil and used mobil1 and liked the difference.
I was wondering if there is anything I should be aware of when changing the trans/diff fluids before starting the change. What type of fluids are used for each and how much will I need? (I will check the type and quantity in the Owners manual tonight)
I have no manuals at this time (other than the owners manual) and don't want to make more than one trip to the parts store once the procedure has been started as I will have only the X at that time. The details are as follows:
'98 Explorer XLT 4Door 4.0L SOHC 4WD (Auto/4high/4low switch on dash)
