First post however long time reader of this forum. I have a 2004/04 6.0 Lariat with all the goodies and 1200 miles on her. During acceleration the truck seems to pull back and forth. Its as if the rpm's are jumping up and down 100rpm's. I can really feel it while going up a grade. My dealer could not find nothing during problem shooting. The machanic said this could just be the nature of the beast. His comment makes me want to find another service tech. Has anybody had this problem with their 6.0? Thanks ahead of time. P.S I'm in love with the truck and it ran awesome for 962miles.

I noticed mine doing the same thing today, while driving empty and it was the first time ever noticed it 2004/03. will problably take it in next week but they will not be able to find anything, as that is the normal answer I get. just wish I STILL HAD THE REAL POERSTROKE THE 7.3.

yea , these service shops are terrible. We spend 40 grand on our trucks and they act like its know big deal. I told the tech about what I thought it could be and he did'nt even look at what I said. He just said there are know updates at this time so the condition must be normal for the 04/04 built 6.0's . Even though the first 962 miles were problem free. This guy was an idiot. And he was not a trained diesel machanic. I demanded that a certified diesel tech drive the truck and tell me its normal. I also challenged the tech to go drive one of the new 04's on the lot to see if it does the same thing. If it does nobody will buy it. I'm very frustrated at this point. The dealer is supose to call me Thursday to talk with a diesel tech. We'll see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
