Reset Check Engine Dash Light
I want to start changing my own oil in my 2002 Expl XLT (with 4.0). Is there a way to tell the computer that the oil has been changed so that I dont get the service engine soon light coming on??

The service engine soon light isn't for oil changes. It means the vehicle's PCM (computer) has seen a sensor reading that it doesn't like. You'll have to take it in and get it scanned for trouble codes. If you do that please write down the code number and not just the description and someone here will be able to help you with it.
