SkyJacker 6" Lift

I just Purchased a Skyjacker for my 94 ranger 2wd Ha Ha I know 2wd what a chump.. I know nothing about 2wd. The ranger is completely stock. 2.3l 4 banger. what mods do I have to accomplish to pull off the lift. Rear end, engine swap. Im not sure. I was thinking of a 4.0L swap with a ford 8.8 rear end

what size tires are you looking to run? definitely regear that will gain some of your current power that you have back.

I Have A 4x4 82 Toyota pickup (for my recreational offroading) and a 4x4 F-350 (for my horse Trailers) Currently with a 6 in. Lift. With the ranger I just want something lifted to drive in the city.. With a little power.

if your looking for power I would say sell your Ranger and buy it with a bigger engine because your lift and bigger tires are gonna suck up most of that power that it has now. but if you wanna project go for it! would be awesome to cram a 460 in that thing!

I'd pay a dollar to see that. Looks like TOO much work and money to beef that truck up. Why not buy something with a little more power?

damn that thing has "little power" right now...woulndt you say?

all you need is more weight, more aero drag and heavier tires for the torquelss 4 banger to drag around...lol

Unhappy

That ranger was my first truck. I'd hate to get rid of it. Although you are all right, there is a 1971 Bronco for sale down the road I think Ill take a look at it and get rid of the ranger. It could have been fun.
