Has anyone removed the front license plate bracket? Just wondering what the 4 fasteners are. They are plastic, but there are no notches for screw drivers, etc.
Thanks
I took mine off... there push pin type... just grab the end of them with a needle nose pliers and they come right off.... of course you'll probably have to replace them but they're only about 20cents apiece.

I removed my front plate holder this past saturday. At first I tried to pry one of the fasteners off with a screwdriver but was not working to my satisfaction. I then placed both hands on the holder, grabbed tight and yanked...Instantaneous removal of plate holder from truck.
The holders are basically plastic rivets. I drilled out the center plug and pulled the rivet out (you may have to reach in behind the bumper and push in the two ears that expanded when the rivet was set). I then took black RTV and glued the rivets back in to cover the holes left by the missing plate bracket.
Thanks so much. I do like hammer 69's method, but I do want the ability to re-install when I get my ticket. Chp are real jerks about minutia like that.
