352 or 390?

352 or 390?
I have an FE engine sitting in the corner of my shed. When purchased the engine I was young an dumb, and told that it was a 390. I was dinking with it the other day and noticed 352 stamped on the back of the block. Does this mean that it is a 352, or did Ford use these blocks as a base for all FE engines?
