Advice please!!!

Yesterday I took my 01 PSD to U-haul to get a break controler installed. Well nine hours later...I went to pick up the truck and they had it ideling outside n the parking lot. I asked them why and they said that the batteries were low. Brought the truck home and looked at batteries, both had the red light. Went for a drive at highway speed for about 45 minutes, one battery has a green light other has a red one. Hooked a charger up to on with red dot, charger says it it done charging after 5 hours but still has red light. The battery with the red light ison the drivers side. When I took the truck to them both battries had green light, I check this once per week when I gas up. Gassed up on Friday. What could be the peoblem and could this be the fault of U-haul? Any advice would help!

They may have left the key on while they tried to figure out what wires went where. No way of telling for sure or how long. You might check for shorts. My rule is, if I can possibly do it myself, I do it. If I can't, I stand and watch. Take the batteries out and load test them. One might have been going bad. Better for it to go bad around home, than away on a trip somewhere. Sorry about your problem.
