Well, I am tryin to fill out my FAFSA for the 04/05 school year.
Problem is, I cannot find my taxes from 03. Anyone know ehre I can look them up or who I can talk to? This form HAS TO BE IN before midnight on June 30th. So I need this thing done soon, I cant wait to have a copy mailed to me from the IRS...know any way I can look it up online or get someone who can?
Your tax reps are required to keep records for 3 or more years. They should have the records. As for the IRS, if all you need is the amount paid or refunded you suould be able to call them to get the info. Good luck
OK thanks, this is really getting to me. I am getting out of the military on extremely sort notice...I only have a month left, was notified maybe a month ago. and I am tryin to get everything in to get school apps and everything in time.
hey, since you mention fafsa, another sort of help you might get ties in with this message board. When I finished high school I managed to get a ford truck scholarship through being active in the local FFA and planning to get a degree in a technical area. It helped me get my associates in mechanical engineering. I don't remember the requirements but I know the local dealership sponsored the scholorship. I t might be worth checking out.
if you are in the military, have you gotten onto the mypay system yet if so your 2003 w2 should still be there up until the 2004 w2's come out so you could just print it off otherwise the people who handle your pay, its PSD for the navy, should be able to get you a copy of your w2 or at least the info the fafsa people need if your not on mypay email or pm me and i can give you the info to get to the site so you can get started
I know you can walk into any H&R Block and they can pull up all your tax form information such as W-2s and 1099s right on their screen. From the IRS site:
