2000 explorer humming (air intake)?

My explorer has a load humming noise coming form the air intake area, anyone have any ideas the local dealer does not?

IAC valve is usually the culprit. Do a search and you'll find the info on how to clean it and stop the humming.

Humming is numbing!

Thanks alot! Took it off and cleaned it in Carb cleaner and not a sound, damn you guys are good, I will use the Dealership to balance and rotate my tires and change the oil, and use this forum to do the tough stuff myself. Took all of twenty minutes to repair including drinking a beer while it soaked in the carb cleaner!! Now thats what I call hard work!
