Ford came through!
I'm happy to report that Ford was very helpful in dealing with my "lemon" truck once I got through to the right person. In fact, I was very impressed by his understanding and helpfulness. Once he saw and understood the problems I have been having over the past 9 months he dealt with the issue quickly and fairly. In fact, I will be one of the few who will be first to get an 05 X up here. The system does work as long as you are honest with your problem and don' try to threaten or harrass. If you have serious problems know your state law and follow it to the letter. This is why it is set up this way and Ford is very good about dealing with the problem once it has been verified. As I have said before, this is the greatest vehicle I have owned and look forward to getting another one without the problems. 
Wow, really glad to here they took good care of you.....that IS what keeps and increases customer base in my opinion.
