One more break in question

My truck should be in shortly. I have read all the beak in do'd/don'ts. I am going to be driving it about 350 miles back home. I know to vary the speed. John Diesel suggested that I stop a few times..Just want to know when should I stop first? 2. How long to cool down?3. How many times altogether? First diesel and want to do what will get me the best break in. I think some one else also said to run it up from about 50 to 70 a few times during thisn time too. Also to let it idle back down by its self when doing so...Just rechecking
Thanks in advance.

When you stop do not turn it off let it idle, if you are going to stop… let it run for 2/4 minutes, then turn it off. Do not be afraid to accelerate smooth and quick. Do not do any power braking moves, just be smooth and have fun.

And do not worrying too much, you are going to have a blast
