doesnt start - radio wont work
I'm totally mystified. My 2000 Expedition has a recurrent problem that has appeared three times in the last week. When I turn the ignition switch to the crank position, nothing happens (except a clicking sound from the fuse box). And - for some strange reason - the radio and clock wont work either. All the other electrical functions are operative... lights, horn, climate controls, window, door locks, etc. And the problem doesn't seem to be related to the theft system. (The theft light goes off after the key has been turned to the on postion.) Then, after a while, the darn thing starts right up.
I was thinking it might be a neutral safety switch problem, but I'd like to know what anyone out there thinks...

Mine too, as a matter of fact the wife called to say that she's at a gas station with that very problem. Unfortunately I'm in Alaska right now and she's in Washington. I'd like to know what answer you get for your problem and see if the same for me.
