I have a 03 model with 25k on it. No problems at all except that the rear tire wear seems a little extreme, maybe I shouldn't hold it to the carpet upon takeoff.

There are so many of us with 03's, and we are all (well as many as on here) going strong.

One of the people that works for me went to a customer service seminar last week. One of the things they said that a satisfied customer 'might' tell two people. An unhappy customer will tell 15. Most people that have trouble free trucks probably don't know this forum exists. That said, I have an '03 F250, bought in Dec of 02 so it MUST be an early build date.

No problems to speak of, love it!!!

I've had my 04 CC psd for 3 months now and have 9k miles on it. truck is great, Wouldn't trade it for the world. I was scared to after hearing all the horror stories too but I think that represents just a small amount of trucks with problems, The # of good ones far out weights the problem one's..I've just recently added some more pics in my gallery too. Get the truck,, you won't be dissapointed,,,

You'll all have to excuse our Timmie. He just gets soooo excited sometimes.

The little blue numbers under each pic tells you the size of the pic. 1=small, 2= bigger.

Don't let the bad threads turn you away just on their basis. Use them as a learning tool. Do your home work. Know what quetions to ask. Know what to look for good and bad.

If you really read these forums you will find really good people. Really good trucks. And with some exception really good carma... man.

Warning: Some opinions may be closer than they appear.

I will say this though. Some of the bad have been VERY bad.

Good luck and thanks for askin'
MOST of the 04's have very, very few problems. Unless you dump a few gallons per minute of friggen methanol through it. Trust me, i know from experience. Just get the truck, and either a Superchips or Predator Tuner. You will absolutely love it.

Just a follow up here.
Went to the dealer today, the salesman told me any truck built AFTER Aug. 03 should be OK.
Before Aug. 03 they had fuel injector & computor problems, which supposedly Ford has corrected.
I hope he's right!!
I intend to buy this weekend!
