i saw in PAW mag that they have super street heads availible for the ol' FE. what are these heads, are they just stock head cores that the rebuild or are they as good as a set of ebocks or are these better than the ebocks i'm doing a lot research for my head selection cause i think that is one of the most important parts of an engine, i'm not building a race engine some i dont care about really small chambers or huge valves or ports but i do want them to be efficient and "work" well.
so other than what i already asked does anybody know anything about these supposed super stree heads from PAW

The heads i saw in my catalog are simply OE castings that have been ported and polished, they actually have the very large D shape to them. They shoud be fine for what you want to do and if for some reason your engine overheats you won't have to worry about ruining a set of $1,000 aluminum heads.

Call PAW. Ask them for flow numbers. A good porter will have them available because he will use his flowbench to learn what works and what doesn't. He will also use it to ensure all the ports flow the same. If he doesn't its probably just some dude with a die grinder making either an educated or uneducated guess. Also ask if they use a CNC porter or hand porting. Hand porting works great but CNC porters ensure the ports are the same every time. Removing material from the head can hurt flow if you do it in the wrong place. Ask him for flow numbers at a 28inHG pressure drop. PAWs reputation is not the best.

thanks for the info guys i will probably just call them here in a bit for specifics, but i wanted to ask yall, the unbiased, for opinions because i know what their opinion of thier stuff will be,
