Is there any fix out there to stop condensation in the crankase?
I have been struggling with this since I got the truck a few years back. I have changed the PCV valve and the crankcase filter with no luck. I sometimes run natural gas and I know this has more humidity than gasoline. I do run both fuels though.
My truck is a 1990 F150 5.0L and the dipstick is rusted at the top part. There is no sign of a coolant leak. Is there a place where I can get a stainless steel dipstick?
Thanks in advance.
Does it loose any coolant at all? If it does you probably have a leak internally somewhere. I would put in the powdered stop leak. The stuff is amazing and I have even sealed up a crack an engine block before. My $.02
