Code 46???
Hey guys, I've got a 1987 F-150, I6, fuel injected. It runs rough so I pulled some codes and found engine running codes 46 and 25. My Haynes manual tells me that the 25 is the Knock Sensor not responding or responding too little but I can't find what 46 is. Any help??? This is the first time the truck has actually stayed running all the way til the WOT test.

thermactor air system unable to bypass air (vevt to atmosphere). or, distributorless ignition system (Dis) or distributorless ignition system (EDIS) problems-primary circuit failure in coil 2.

Thanks for the reply! I will troubleshoot the thermactor system and I guess test the coil? Could ignition timing being off give the distributor codes? It sounds like the knock sensor and the thermactor are more closely related.
