I've got to replace the dust boots (the rubber things grease is pumped into) on the tie rods in my Explorer. What I can''t figure out is the proper size to buy. Ford only sells them as part of the tie rod and in order to get the right size they have to take the tie rod apart, which the dealerships refuse to do (big surprise). So if anyone knows the size, could you please post it? Also, does the explorer use other sizes for the dust boots or are they all the same size?
