i think we all have pushed it and ran out of gas at least once in our lifetime. so why not put a 2 gallon reserve tank as an option. just like a motorcycle. be a nice thing to have, dont u think?

Sounds good, but thats why they give you a fuel light, it's about 2-3 gals when it comes on

lol i know,, but who doesnt push it,, my fuel light comes on with five gallons left,, or 50 miles,, my truck only gets 11 in the city, but i drive it hard

Driving with the fuel light on is a good way to overheat and ruin the fuel pump. It uses the surrounding fuel to pull heat away from it. When it is that low, it will get hot!!

whose to say that people wont start to "push it" with whats in the reserve tank

good to know tx lxman and mrwhitefolk, i think if u run out on reserve tank,, u deserve to walk,, lol. i think its a cool idea, but i guess u all think otherwise..
