No Kickdown...

I always wondered about this. I noticed that after I did a full coolant change it shifted quicker; the cooler the engine runs the less gas you have to give it to drop a gear.
BTW, if you in OD just drop it into D
Unless you only have a 3 speed and then it prob shouldnt drop at anything over 65~.

Funny, just had the coolant changed but that wasn't the reason. I also just had the trans fluid flushed. I'm pretty sure being a 93 that it's a 4 speed. Even out of OD it won't kickdown no matter how fast I'm going. Every once in a while I'll notice the RPM's drop when I hit 35 out of OD, it's kind of strange you can hear it whine and the RPM's drop to around 1500.
