Where is my fuel pump?

i Dropped my tank to clean it and there was no fuel pump in it, Is it mechanical pump? 1999 F-350 psd. I have been having problems with it missing a little. Not as smooth as it used to be. I have added fuel injector cleaners twice in two complete refuel times.

On my 95 its behind the fuel bowl under part of the turbo.

Try lookining in the frame channel just behind the drivers side wheel, that is where it is on my 2000
