A coupla general questions
A coupla general questions
Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought a truck. Thanks for all the input on 6.0 vs. 7.3, how to get an Oasis, etc. I wound up with a 2003 with a 7.3 and wonder if anyone knows how to get the cab lights off and how big a hole they leave? Also, the truck has factory alloys with 265/75R16s so does anyone know if those tires will look reasonable(not stretched too wide) on an Eagle 589, probably an 8x16? My son has the 9.25x16.5 Eagles on his. They look great but I'd have to get new tires for that and I'm not sure I want to go that big anyway.
About the paint. This truck is trueblue and I want to AVOID any swirling from washing or waxing. Any suggestions?
Can anyone recommend a reliable after-market keyless entry/remore start unit that installs fairly easily? My son had one added at the Ford place but it was about $300.
Last question - is a 2003 7.3 normally quieter than a 2000 model? Mine seems less noisy than my son's. Only difference is I have carpet and he did the carpet delete on his XLT.
Luvin' my truck so far and THANKS again for all the help.
