I love my Scab but if I was a family man I would probably have a Screw.

Fatman, that is how you get into a family, not the product of one.... lol

I agree, I was a scab guy until I had a daughter... pack-n-play, stroller, car seat, etc. It adds up quickly.

Now I am a Screw guy through and through.

I just can't say enough about my f150 lariat screw!!!!!!

Love my SCrew!

Although now, I'm expected to drive everyone everywhere. They love my SCrew too. Running out of room is never an issue. Both are definitely great looking trucks!

SCab vs SCrew

I didn't even look at the SCrew because of the extra short bed. I use my truck mostly for towing and not hauling, but there are times where I need that extra room back there. The 6.5' bed is about the perfect size. If it was availible with a 6.5' bed, I would have definitely considered it and possibly bought it (price difference a consideration too). No family yet, so I can choose to be a little picky.

You can get 6.5 out of the bed with the extender on the screw!

I was looking at the Scab but ended up buying the Super Crew because of the seat belts. I like the fact that I can grab the belt of the side wall instead of behind me on the seat as in the scab.

Being a social type of guy, I chose the supercrew for the family and what better excuse to take my rig on a long trip rather than the min van?

I do like the screw and wouldn't give it up but it sure would be nice to have a longer bed. I'm a little surprised at the poll results so far. 56% crew.... From what I see on the road, there are a lot more supercabs than supercrews.

The Supercrew most definately. I have had Ford Spercabs, and I hate to say it 1 Chevy and GMC Supercab but regained my senses and went back to Ford, in the past but the Supercrew adds so much more in versatility. I am not affected by the 5.5' bed.

The reason I was able to get my 04 was because the wife wanted a supercrew, she went out and test drove it with out me knowing over Memorial Day weekend. She came back and said lets go buy the new truck you wanted. I was happy as I was coming from a supercab model and now that I have that extra space, I love it. Plus the bed is a non factor with the bed extender.

I got the super crew out of necessity because of our 3 tall teenagers (the 2 nieces and a nephew that we just got custody of). I love it and I am very pleased that I got it. I have always had extended cab trucks in the past. Like others, I wish that they had a longer bed option on the SCrews.

Would have gone with the SCREW if available with the 8' bed
