Mud races
I went to the mud races in Gatesville(tx) and The 73-79 fords held thier ground VERY VERY well none broke on track-unlike the chevrolets. and some were BADLY wore out a 77-79 F250 4x4 went down and burned about 2 qts oil but the guy was HAMMERING it hard and drove it to the pits-it was a blue truck.If the guy is on this forum what engine did it haver that abuse taking was AMAZING!!!!!Thier was a black 74 F100 4 speed 4x4 390 completly redone -NICELY the guy was having a bad day-not truck fault he couldn't find the right gear apearently
