Wink

hey jomo, since you are into physics what are your thoughts on the isotropic nature of the CMB? do you think that it is confined in our heliosphere or will it vary outside more or less than the current 2.73 degrees kelvin as measured by WMAP satellite?... just kidding

I dunno about the tensioner being the problem in this particular case but I would just get the thing replaced with a new one, it is under warranty I suppose. The one I got came with a lifetime warranty, whatever that means!

Just out of curiosity, what kind of exhaust are you going to run? Dual perhaps? If so... do you use two cats or one bigger one with two in/out-lets? Do you remove the pre-cat? This is probably better for another post topic...

No its ok.

Im running the full Bassani system from the heads to the muffler... prob a flowmaster 40 or 50, 3" in 3" out..

The y pipe I got doesnt have any cats, which is why im taking off my air pump and will need a new belt.

From what ive read, dual is just not worth it, way to much trouble and a loss of back pressure plus all the time and money along with the probable loss of ground clearance is just not worth it at all.

Here is where I got my stuff

http://www.proficientperformance.com/bassani.htm

I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Well 1st, I bought my headers on like the..... 2nd or 3rd of May, they charged me, sent me a invoice, and gave me a tracking # and date.

2 days after I was suppose to get it I called them, they said they have no idea and they would call me on Monday (It was like 4:30 on Friday) I was like WTF!

So they call me on Monday, say its on Back order for 3-4 weeks, and its already been about 1.5 weeks ive waited from them... man i was heated but really didnt say to much. (Strike #1 which is all that is needed to not like some(one)/(thing)/(body)

About 2 or 3 days later I ordered Bassanis Y-pipe. I when ordering it and my dog needed to go out side, i think I was on step 2 or 3 of the process. So I came back about 15 mins later and continued. I then hit next and the page timed out, which is normal for a secured (SSL) site.

So I restarted, when I was done the total was like 28X.xx and i finished and went on my way. About 3 hours later I checked my email and it said I ordered 2!! I was like omg... I cant believe this, the total was like 566.xx.

I then called them and Bassani and canceled the 2nd one. The refunded me the cost of the ypipe minus 5%. BUT along with the y-pipe I also ordered the Flange, which they did not refund me for that.

I was not happy again (Strike 2), so i called them over and over for 2 business days.. no one would pick up. Then finally someone did pick up and they said I ordered 2 y-pipes bit only 1 flange... So I was like what ever, thanks... not really! I then waited for the y pipe to come and it only had 1 flange. I then called AGAIN, and he said the same thing... I was like hello??? The total is 566.xx. The cost of the y pipe is 256.xx + 22 for the flange is like 276.xx X 2 = 566.xx or so.. not exact # but just simple math, its was almost exactly 1/2. (Strike 3 4 5 6 7 and 8)

I just couldnt believe this company, by FAR the worst company ive delt with.

There was a lot more with in this story but i just cant type all that, so thats just the jist of it.
