How much did it cost you to rebuild your 400. About how much for boring out, porting and polishing heads, turning the crank, getting the block blue printed, and the general stuff. I plan on putting and Edelbrock 650 off road carb and intake manifold, headers, and comp cam in the engine. Any recomendations for 4x4 headers that will fit a 1979 F-150. Thanks

There is probably more than you wanted to know there, but I believe that to much information is better than to little, as you can always filter out the useless stuff.
I'd put new rod bolts in it and get new rocker arms too, they'll probably be worn where the folcrum rides in them. I would also consider getting it balanced.
