Ford ESP - Buy now or wait?
Almost ready to buy my new F150.
Need some advice on extended warranty.
4x4 Lariat Supercrew
Med. Wedgewood Blue Two-tone
3.73 LS
Goodyear tires
Audiophile
Skid plates
Moonroof
Power sliding rear window
Towing package
Bed Extender
Reverse Sensing
Captain's chairs
Chrome tubular running boards.
x-plan price w/rebates: $33632
Mac Haik Ford in Katy, TX
Ford's premium ESP for 7yr / 60K miles comes out to $1770 w/$100 deductible.
Should I buy now, or wait until the warranty expires? Adding "15000 miles" to the starting mileage adds about $100 to the price.
Any advantages to having the ESP during the regular factory warranty period?
Thanks.

don't think there is a REAL advantage to running ESP and factory warranty concurrently but buying the ESP now may give you more opportunity to negotiate the price. I put quite a few miles on in my job so I wanted the 5 yr/100,000 mi option. They were offering this @ approx $2200 but I was able to get it and the LoJack for $2300.
