No lock-up E40D
I recently purchased a 89' F250 deisel with the E40D transmission and the torque converter does not lock-up, also when in reverse it seems to be in second gear instead of first. Could this be the solinoid packs or something else???? I changed fluid and it was burnt, but there was not a abnormal amount of clutch material in the fluid. Also the OD light has not flashed once.
