Factory stereo problem-91 explorer
My stereo will not function on start-up. The display comes up as the current FM station, but no buttons work, and no sound comes out. Is there another fuse other than the one in the main panel?

yes there are two fuses, one for memory and another for power. If you get the radio to turn on, and there is no sound, pull the radio and check the second plug for the wiring. There are two plugs, on for speakers and one for power etc.
